Dove, Leaves and Heart with Arrow Through It / “In God We Trust”

Front: Relief carving depicting a dove atop at leaf capped branch and a heart with an arrow through it above the bird, all set within a diamond shape. At each of the four corners, adjacent to the sides of the diamond, is a raised, ribbed leaf. All bordered by a raised double line border.
Rear: Relief carving depicting an urn or a stylized fountain with a series of curves above it (representing flowing water?). Open drapery above the urn/fountain. All set within a diamond shape. At upper left and right corners adjacent to the diamond is a raised heart incised with dots, a band and intersecting lines which resemble an American flag. At the lower left and right corners adjacent to the diamond is a leaf, each different from the other. All bordered by a raised double line border.
Spine: Incised within center band: “IN.GOD. / WE. / TRUST.” Top and bottom bands denoted by incised banner shapes. Interesting “fill” comprised of finely incised, closely set wavy lines.
Foredge: Deeply inset with striations denoting pages.
