Rear: Center panel with an incised and painted central circle containing an incised and painted Luther’s Seal, the symbol of the Lutheran Church (white rose with a red heart and black cross at its center). Incised dots at four corners of center panel. Painted/marblized borders.
Spine: Curved and polished.
Foredge: Coved, painted gold
