Front: Lightly incised/scratched into surface and then rubbed with ink, in an ornate script: “God Is Love” beneath which are colored sprigs of flowers surrounding a crown with a cross through it.
Rear: Lightly incised/scratched into surface and then rubbed with ink: “Love’s / Forgetmenot / Nellie” surrounded by an angel at top and bottom and colored forget me not flowers entwined among the lettering.
Spine: Three raised bands.
Fore Edge: Coved fore, top and bottom edges.
