Front: Relief carved plant with three flowers. Background stippled. Underneath plant, in script, “Mabel”.
Back: Flying dove with note in her beak, in relief against a stippled background. Each corner with a small fleur-de-lys relief.
Spine: “1897” in relief against stippled background. Two bands.
Foredge: Flat, matte.

Nice combination of folk carving.   Has a very Pennsylvania Dutch feeling.  Price far too high but a lovely book.
