Back: “H.M.S [no period]/J. WATSON/FROM/R. S [no period]/1894”
Spine: blank

Masonic marked books rare. H.M.S initials likely mean an English book. Does the thistle refer to Scotland or to Scottish Rite? English or not, a terrific book.
