Back: 2 incised rectangles, one within the other, with incised cross at center; incised elements painted black. Incised but unpainted hinge line.
Spine: 2 bands, one at top the other at bottom, comprised of 2 incised lines painted black. “HOLY / BIBLE” and a cross handwritten in black ink at center.
Fore Edge: Coved with scratched lines to denote pages. BOTTOM EDGE: Handwritten in black ink: “MADE / BY / NICK / WEISSE”

Very rare for maker to be noted.
