Front: Deeply incised and gold painted monogram that reads: “IS” set within a raised, rectangular shaped border with protruding squares at each corner and a v-shaped angle at each side. Border has gold painted incised accent. Gold paint, somewhat sloppily applied, along all four front sides.
Rear: Deeply incised and gold painted “1894” at center placed within a rectangular border identical to that on front.
Spine: Three raised, gold painted bands
Foredge: Very slight cove; painted gold
