Front: Polished surface; deeply incised with a leafy branch above the date “1898,” all surrounded with a deeply incised, intertwined “chain” border.
Back: Polished surface; deeply incised with a leafy branch that is surrounded with a deeply incised, intertwined “chain” border.
Spine: Polished surface; deeply incised “HOLY / BIBLE” at center; three bands delineated by an incised, saw tooth pattern.

1. Edges are inset, flat and polished with pages represented by lightly incised lines.
2. Stone book numbers 111 and 112 are by the same unidentified maker.
3. Stone book numbers 110, 111, 112, and 114 were purchased as a group from Douglas L. Solliday and discounted accordingly, hence the “approx.” purchase price.
