Front: Heavily carved high relief central design of flowers and leaves on a stem, center of each flower is inset with either a green or a red colored element. Floral design set against a deeply recessed rough background; all surrounded by a rectangular shaped rope pattern border with chamfered corners; polished surface sunflower-like design at each of these four corners.
Back: Same design as on front except that the deeply recessed background is without the floral pattern.
Spine: Curved and polished without bands.
Fore edge: Coved and polished.
