Front: Incised at center: “Garden / of the Gods / July 28 1892” set within an incised, single line, rectangular border.
Back: Incised at center: “Manatou [sic] / Springs / Colorado” set within a rectangular border comprised of a double lines with an incised saw toothed pattern between them.
Spine: Two raised bands set within a scalloped edge.
Foredge: Flat but inset.

Book has an unusual wedge-shaped form but typical of many GG books.
