Front: Clasped hands in circle of Lilly of the Valley flowers, with zig zag right border with “LOVE” letters. All in relief against “pricked” background. Chamfered cover edges.
Rear: Flying bird with blossom in beak, above waves. All in relief against “pricked” background. Chamfered.
Spine: Three loop chain [IOOF?], heart, and four bold ribs, all in relief.
Foredge: All page edges have trailing vine in relief.

Massive, with very folky carving.  Fraternal order reference.
