Front: Deeply incised cross with three incised circles at the end of each arm and top/bottom of upright. Deeply incised hinge line. Highly polished except for incised decoration which remains rough. Chamfered edges.
Back: Undecorated except for deeply incised hinge line. Chamfered edges.
Spine: 3 raised bands with deeply incised borders.
Fore edge: Flat, but decorated with striated lines denoting pages.
