Front: “TRUTH” in raised block letters with stipple background with racetrack band and corner decorations. Band with bronze paint. Stippled background with traces of red substance. Cover edges with dull bronze paint.
Back: “FRIENDSHIP” with same details as front, except that most of the unidentified red material fills the stippled background and outlines the word.
Spine: “LOVE” incised perpendicular to spine. Five raised ribs.
Foredge: Bright bronze paint (probably recent).
Words are the motto of the IOOF fraternal organization.
