Donelson, Shiloh, Corinth, & capture of Col Dawson (notorious guerrilla chief). Presented to his wife Matilda in 1911 (book dated 1912)) on 50th anniversary. Purchased by Monty Young (dealer) at Cowan’s, $600 hammer, 2006 (date ?). Extraordinary to have a book with so much information on characters.
