Front: Oval Sixth plate size tintype inset at center surrounded by a low relief carved, lobed border. Four saw-toothed corner decorations. Tintype portrait of man wearing bowler hat; legs crossed, hands on lap. Incised below portrait: “Harry”.
Back: Low relief depiction of cuffed hand holding stem of rose with diagonally placed placard incised “LJH”. Same corner decorations as front; deeply carved sawtooth border.
Spine: Blank but highly polished.
Foredge: Deeply coved and polished.
Clearly a memorial book.
