Front: Lightly incised at center: “G. Day / 1858” with flourish decorations above, below and at corners. Flourishes lightly colored with black ink.
Rear: Lightly incised center panel with coved edges; colored with black ink.
Spine: Three incised bands; top and bottom bands comprised of two lines each; center band comprised of three lines. Colored with traces of black ink.
Fore Edge: Straight, but indented fore, top and bottom edges with remnants of black ink.
