Front: Deeply incisded and colored black: “E.M.K.” A single, very deeply incised circle/hole centered above the initials. Surrounded by an incised, colored black rectangular border with inward facing loop at each corner.
Rear: Incised, colored black rectangular border with inward facing loop at each corner.
Spine: Incised at top: “HOLY / BIBLE.” This was originally colored black but most of the paint or stain is gone.
Foredge: Inset with striated lines to denote pages.
