Front: High relief bust depicting Benjamin Franklin in profile. Lightly incised above the bust: “PRESENTS / OF” and below the bust: “FRANKLIN.” All surrounded with a lightly incised straight double lined border with a wavy lined, decorative cornered inner border.
Rear: Blank, polished
Spine: Three raised bands, top and bottom comprised of an incised line and cove; middle comprised of two incised lines.
Foredge: Inset with striations representing pages.
