Front: Polished surface with polished inscription “ARTHUR / TO MOTHER” set against a roughened background; surrounded by leaves and a flower all set within a rectangle. All decoration very flat on surface.
Back: Polished surface with polished inscription “HOLY / BIBLE” set on a diagonal against a roughened background; surrounded by leaves and a flower all set within a rectangle. All decoration very flat on surface.
Spine: Top and bottom bands delineated as very lightly incised lines; polished date of “1912” set at center against a roughened surface located between the bands.

1. Edges are flat and not inset with pages represented by roughened surface.
2. Stone book numbers 110, 111, 112, and 114 were purchased as a group from Douglas L. Solliday and discounted accordingly, hence the “approx.” purchase price.
