Front: Incised at center: “A.L. / DEC. X24. pa.” set on panel at center of chamfered edges decorated with incised diagonal lines at top, right and bottom.
Back: Incised at center: “12 94 [1?4] Kingston” with an incised fern frond set on a diagonal between the 12 and the 94. Chamfered edges decorated with incised diagonal lines at top, right and bottom.
Spine: Convex shape. Two deeply incised bands, one at top the other at bottom. Notched pattern at top and bottom edges of spine.

1. Fore edge is coved.
2. NOTE: The date inscribed on the back appears to read 12 94, but may actually be 14.
3. Probably by the same maker as Stone Book # 0085.
4. NOTE: There is a Kingston, Pennsylvania. It is located in Luzerne County, on the Susquehanna River opposite Wilkes Barre.
